Pumpkin Pie Milkshake

Last minute Halloween treat alert! If you are already sick of candy, (which I am not but those days are rare, honestly) these are for you.

What are you doing for Halloween? We are going to spend time with my family, hand out some candy and watch some scary movies. My sister Caitlin and I are also competing in a friendly little cookie-off to see who can make the best Compost cookies. I will be sharing my recipe here soon. It’s a good one, and will be a great use for all those leftover treats!

Or, you could do THIS. It’s always a good decision.

Have a happy one!

Pumpkin Pie Milkshake

Makes 2 small shakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp. maple syrup
  • ½-1 cup milk
  • Graham crumbs for garnish, optional

Instructions:

Layer ingredients in a blender. Start with ½ cup of the milk and add more to thin it out as needed. I used almost the whole cup. Blend until smooth. Pour shakes into glasses and garnish with graham crumbs and a straw!
