Weekly Gratitude #10

A few things I felt excited about over the past week:

Yesterday morning I remarked how much I missed getting an Easter basket but how I’d settle for just a chocolate egg. When we went for Easter supper at my Main Taste Tester’s parents, his mom presented us with a huge basket packed with every kind of chocolate I could imagine. It was awesome and made me feel like a kid again.

I’ve been wanting the earrings above for a while now and when we were discussing what I might like for my upcoming birthday, my MTT agreed we could go and “look” at them as a possible gift but he still had other things in mind. When we got to the shop where they are sold, I pointed out my heart’s desire and then prepared to skip on out and cross my fingers. My MTT shocked me by buying them on the spot and presenting them to me right away. I couldn’t believe it!

Things have been a bit of a whirlwind lately;  I found out about Jamberry Nails through my younger sister a month or so ago and as a nail polish addict, she told me I would love them. When we went to a trade show in my hometown recently, there was a booth there. I bought some, tried them and was immediately impressed. As someone who does about 2 home manicures each week and an at home pedicure about twice a month, these are a HUGE timesaver for me. I don’t have to carry a bottle of polish with me at all times to fix chips and there are so many amazing options in terms of prints and colors. I believe in this product so much that I quickly signed up to start selling them. The past few days were spent going to “Jamberry University” and educating myself with the product. I am planning my first in-house launch party in May once my starter kit arrives and I can’t wait. This new venture has me really excited.

On another business related note, I have been debating on getting business cards made for my blog & baking for a while now. I finally took the plunge this weekend and got them ordered. I am so excited to see them in person and now when I am asked for a card, I actually have something to pass along. I am so in awe of the journey that blogging has taken me on. It fulfills me in a way I can’t fully describe and I love knowing that people are actually interested in reading what I have to say! That support has me so grateful all of the time.
