Watch Talk

Lately I’ve been really into the idea of wearing a watch again. I used to wear one every day and then at some point got out of it. I’ve searched for a really great vintage one and I even saw one in Vegas that I LOVED, but I never bit the bullet and I’m still kicking myself a bit. Recently I was pointed in the direction of Invaluable and I’ve been browsing their gorgeous vintage watches. I’ve been really wanting to get more into gold tones and I think that a great gold watch may be the first step. I decided to play around with some outfit collages to see how versatile one could be and I used an incredible (and very out of my price range) Rolex from Invaluable’s site as my inspiration. This was new for me and I thought I’d show you what I came up with!

For the day look, I paired a grungy plaid shirt (I always roll up the sleeves!) with an easy but still beautiful flat and a messenger bag. The jean is really similar to one I just bought in Las Vegas and dark sunglasses are a must. I think the gold watch would elevate this easy look.

For night, I paired this gorgeous leopard dress with an ankle boot and a blush clutch, although I’d be adding tights in this cold weather. I’ve been really wanting a pair of double sided earrings just like those ones and I liked the edginess they added. I think the gold watch would fit in just well with the night look for a glam touch.

After seeing these mixes, I’m so excited to add a gold watch to my wardrobe!

I’ll keep you posted when I find the right one.
