Four New Faves

 MAC Relentlessly Red Lipstick

Remember when I said I would treat myself to this lipstick if I succeeded in regularly wearing bright lips for three months? Well, I didn’t have to wait that long because my Main Taste Tester read that post and very thoughtfully bought it for me for Valentine’s Day! It’s gorgeous. It’s retro looking with a very matte finish and the color is very bright and pink toned. I’ve been wearing it a ton. So glad I have this one! It’s quickly become my new fave.

Urban Decay Naked2 Palette

I’ve wanted this FOREVER. Like, since it came out but I just couldn’t justify spending that much on eye shadow. I recently gifted it to my sister for her birthday and my Main Taste Tester took note of how lovingly I was gazing at it so he picked me up one of my own and surprised me with it! I seriously have the best guy in the world. That palette is just beautiful and everything I’d hoped it would be. The packaging is sleek and sturdy, the colors are perfect and the formulas are awesome and SO long lasting. It also came with a double ended shadow brush and several samples of Urban Decay’s awesome shadow primer. This is definitely a splurge but I’ve been having a ton of fun experimenting with it and it’s super versatile. If you need the push I highly, highly recommend it.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Polish

I bought this totally on a whim recently when I saw it was on sale. I love Jamberry nails for their long term wear but I’m out of neutrals and the prints and colors I have left feel too summery. I bought “Blacky O” and the corresponding gel topcoat and gave it a whirl last week. It’s really simple; just paint on 2 coats of your chosen color, and once it’s dry add a coat of the gel topcoat, letting it set in a well-lit area. My bedroom light was bright enough and it set quickly. I’m currently on day 7 and my nails still look perfectly glossy with barely any wear and tear. I’m impressed!

The Body Shop Smoky Poppy Bath Bombs

I love a good bath and something about these spoke to me on my last trip to the Body Shop. The package includes 6 bath bombs that are heavily scented with flowers and have real poppy seeds sprinkled inside. One of these bombs turned my bath into a milky oasis that felt moisturizing and smelled heavenly. The smell lingered on my skin after the bath too, which I loved. These are a nice little treat and limited edition, which means I’ll be stocking up on more soon.
