Whole30 Recap: Week Four + Day 28 – 30

My mom ended up in the hospital unexpectedly this week and I was trying to stick to the program while being constantly on the go. There was very little variety in my diet because I had no time to cook and we had my family staying with us, who weren’t eating Whole30. I became incredibly bored due to the lack of variety in my diet and stress made me want to break down and eat junk food. I also didn’t really have time to think about or keep track of how I was feeling, although I do know that physically I feel much better eating this way than I ever have.

Day 22

 Breakfast

  • Green Smoothie (kale, spinach, berries, unsweetened coconut milk, chia, matcha)

Lunch

  • Veggie Scramble (eggs, kale, bell pepper, red onion)
  • Bacon
  • Banana

 Supper

  • Grilled Chicken
  • Roasted Carrots & Broccoli

 Day 23

 Breakfast

  • Green Smoothie (kale, spinach, berries, unsweetened coconut milk, chia, matcha)

Lunch

  • Veggie Scramble
  • Bacon
  • Banana

 Supper

  • Larabar

 Day 24

 Breakfast

  • Green Smoothie (kale, spinach, berries, unsweetened coconut milk, chia, matcha)

Lunch

  • Chicken Salad (spring greens, chicken, almonds, red pepper, onion, broccoli, carrot, asparagus)

 Supper

  • Lettuce wrap with chicken, bacon and mustard
  • Booster Juice “Tropikale” Smoothie

 Day 25

 Breakfast

  • Veggie Scramble
  • Bacon

Lunch

  • Larabar

 Supper

  • Lettuce wrap with chicken and mayo
  • Celery sticks with almond butter and raisins

 Day 26

 Breakfast

  • Sliced banana with mixed nuts and unsweetened coconut milk

Lunch

  • Lettuce wrap with chicken, bacon and mustard

 Supper

  • Green Smoothie (pineapple, frozen berries, spinach, kale, chia)

 Snack

  • Baked Potato “Chips”
  • Raw Veggies

Day 27

 Breakfast

  • Larabar
  • Celery Sticks
  • Sliced Cucumber

Lunch

  • Kale Salad (shrimp, onion, carrot, cucumber)

 Supper

  • Chicken & Apple Sausage
  • Roasted Broccoli
  • Watermelon

 Day 28

 Breakfast

  • Banana
  • Mixed Nuts

Lunch

  • Scrambled Eggs
  • Bacon
  • Roasted Broccoli

 Supper

  • Chili Dog Chili (recipe from Primal Cravings) topped with mustard and diced onion
  • Watermelon

 Day 29

 Breakfast

  • Larabar
  • Celery Sticks
  • Sliced Cucumber

Lunch

  • Green Juice
  • Mixed Nuts

Supper

  • Leftover Chili Dog Chili
  • Baked Potato “Chips”

Day 30

 Breakfast

  • Bacon
  • Eggs
  • Iced Latte with Almond Milk (guilty confession: I had a shot of coconut syrup in here)

Lunch

  • Leftover Chili Dog Chili with onion and mustard

 Supper

  • Chicken
  • Grapes
  • ½ Larabar

I can’t believe I did it! I’m feeling very accomplished.
